1. Toronto was a Canadian rock band from the late seventies and early eighties who have been compared to Heart and Pat Benatar. They were formed in the late 1970s in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, when singer Annie "Holly" Woods met guitarist Brian Allen. The band's constantly shifting line-up was originally augmented by guitarist/backing vocalist Sharon Alton, keyboardist Scott Kreyer, bassist Nick Costello, and drummer Jimmy Fox.
Their first album, Lookin' for Trouble, was released in 1980, and the title track was a Top 40 hit in Canada. Head On (1981) followed , after which Costello and Fox left the band to be replaced by Gary LaLonde (later of Honeymoon Suite) and Barry Connors (later of Coney Hatch).
This sextet recorded Get It On Credit (1982), with Your Daddy Don't Know perhaps being their best known hit on the 1982 album. Lalonde was then replaced by Mike Gingrich for 1983's Girls' Night Out. This album also received attention, as did the band's Greatest Hits album of 1984.
There were subsequently several exits and entrances in 1984/85, with founding members Allen and Alton leaving, along with drummer Connors. They were replaced by Marty Walsh (guitars), Daryl Alvara (guitars) and Paul Hanna (drums), and the band rechristened themselves Toronto & Holly Woods. In 1985, the re-vamped sextet released their final album, Assault & Flattery. It featured the single New Romance, written by Holly Knight and Anton Fig.
2005 saw Toronto play at Voyageur Days Festival in Mattawa, Ontario, Canada (near North Bay) with other Canadian classic rockers Moxy, Chilliwack, Trooper, Goddo, Killer Dwarfs and Ray Lyell for the 30th anniversary of the release of the debut album by the band Moxy.
2. Toronto is a rock band from Poland, created in 1997 by brothers Sลawek and Darek Zaลeลscy.

I saw you in the street
Your friends were all around you
They follow you like sheep
A knight in blue jean armor
Upon a concrete throne
You're a two bit punk from nowhere
Looking for trouble, finding it easy
Looking for trouble for the rest of your life
Looking for trouble, ready to gamble
Looking for trouble, yeah
Another stripped down Chevy
Is sitting up on blocks
It only took a minute
And now the money talks, oh, it talks
Yeah, money talks
Looking for trouble, finding it easy
Looking for trouble for the rest of your life
Looking for trouble, ready to gamble
Looking for trouble, yeah
Your rival's got your number
The cops are on your case
Your life's in constant danger
You're a rat within the race
I know that I can save you
You told me that you cared
Don't wanna see those handcuffs on you, no
Looking for trouble (looking for trouble), finding it easy (finding it easy)
Looking for trouble (looking) for the rest of your life
Looking for trouble, ready to gamble
Looking for trouble, yeah
Looking for trouble (looking for trouble), finding it easy (yeah, I'm finding it easy)
Looking for trouble (looking for trouble), finding it easy (yeah, I'm finding it easy)
Looking for trouble (looking for trouble), finding it easy (yeah, I'm finding it easy)
Looking for trouble
The lyrics of Toronto's song Lookin' For Trouble illustrate a narrative of a person who appears to be a troublemaker or delinquent, seeking out conflict and danger. The first verse seems to be characterizing this person as someone who is well-known for their tendency towards aggression and who their followers, or perhaps henchmen, are loyal to. The second verse explains how the individual's actions have earned them material gains and a reputation as a two-bit punk - someone who is not respected for their actions. The chorus reiterates the theme of the person seeking out trouble as a means of gratification, a constant search that they are willing to gamble on, even if it means potentially getting into trouble with the law.
The final verse of the song changes tone slightly, with the lyrics suggesting that the singer knows the individual personally and that they believe they can help them. The song ends with a return to the chorus, which restates the theme of the individual's constant search for trouble.
Overall, the lyrics of this song seem to be a commentary on youthful delinquency and the search for excitement that can lead to unintended consequences. It could also be seen as a warning against getting involved in these kinds of behaviors and urging the listener to avoid individuals who cause trouble.

I'd love to see some old video. I must've seen this band half a dozen times in 80-81, just before I discovered hardcore punk. That aside, this band was always great live. For some reason I was thinking of this song today and I'm remembering them opening for bands like Teaze, Streetheart, Ted Nugent. Anyway, great post. Cheers!!!!!
