Founded by Glover Gill in collaboration with The Tosca String Quartet, Chris Maresh and Justin Sherburn in 1997. The group performs original compositions in the nuevo tango style and has released six albums. Among these is the soundtrack to Richard Linklater’s Waking Life which led to the group's international following.

The Waking Life soundtrack is an immortal classical piece while introducing new musical landscapes and possibilities. I've been listening to it a lot recently. It conveys different moods so well and tangibly (more so than the film in my opinion) for someone who was unfamiliar to classical or tango music in general. I have to thank you for songs such as this, "Ballade 4", "Pelo Negro" and "Mi Otra Mitad de Neranja"

I need to know more about this orchestra and who wrote this music. It's so incredibly good and just simply beautiful. So fucking weird and exciting and just ahhhhh. It may be some of my favorite music. The players are so good too. And just the combination of the instruments and the particular registers of those instruments. It's just so God damn good.
