@Kwagar Yeah i feel the same based off of the recent decisions, as much as i want to see a Med3 and as much potential as that might have.
There's the real danger CA could completely mess it up.
They managed to mess up Warhammer3 release after all.

@D G I'm still waiting for proper overhaul mods for Troy.. That game actually has some potential as modded Medieval 3. Combat needs some revision. The Diplomacy is the same system with maybe different attributes.

It’s so funny watching legend play this game after so long 😂😂 low taxes and auto resolve would’ve emotionally damaged legend in 2015. Seeing this come up on my feed made my fucking day. Still watching the SS 6.4 Eastern Roman Empire campaign right now. Keep up the MTW2!

These older total war games kind of show their age now but playing them back in the day, especially as a kid were some of the best gaming experiences of my life. The first Rome total war was my favorite game for years.

Honestly I don't know if they still exist but it's well worth researching the Warhammer (Call of Warhammer) & LOTR (Third Age Total War) mods made using this game. Some of the most incredible community efforts I've ever experienced. Well worth the money and time invested for an awesome solo campaign experience.

This was my first Total War cause it was the only one my PC could run at the time (The game was probably 6-7 years old by that point too). Got it right before summer break started and played about 200 hours over the next few weeks. Would literally wake up, play this game for 12 hours (with reasonable breaks to eat and such), go to bed and repeat. Simpler times.

Remember border horse is arguably the best light cab in game they are just so damn fast you can cheese the game with them very easily 2 border horse can wipe a 6 stack of Islamic heavy spear militia with all the armor upgrades when used properly (yes on very hard I’ve done spit and keep doing it)

i love medieval 2 total war so much. it takes me back to a good time, a better time, before dlcs and microtransactions. maybe i'm just too stubborn for my own good, but i never buy games with microtransactions and bs dlc and would rather stick with good old classics like medieval 2 total war, mount and blade warband, gta san andreas, company of heroes 1, age of empires 2 and 3, and football manager 2012

Guys, can someone tell me how to decrease the speed of the camera on the campaign map? I see Legend's zoom speed is fine while mine on 24' 144hz 1920x1080 monitor is so fast even if I adjust the camera settings in Game Options

If you quicksave before any auto resolve or save and load it up you get the auto win cause the game knows your just gonna cheese it and load a save file over and over to win

Dude you play this game in such a boring way. No teching up to better more enjoyable units, just spam lords and mercs. All business no fun. Yes med2 is easy but you play in the easiest playstyle. Was looking forward to a med2 campaign but this is fucking dull.
