I like that they kinda passed the torch onto Emmy on what would have been Nini's part in this song. It feels like she's officially part of the group, which is all she ever wanted. You can tell she had the time of her life taking over that part. And a great ending to the series as a whole that I never expected to enjoy watching. Just the wholesome kind of stuff that's hard to come by these days.

⁠⁠@@phooony2455 I don’t mind the ending because as bitter sweet as it is, it ended on a high note especially now with the writers/actors strike (having to wait for a renewal announcement would have killed me) But I do agree with you that this cast truly found their essence like their chemistry was off the chart this season and the ending left us wanting more! Plus I just read that Tim said he wanted to do the Greatest Showman and it just broke my heart all over because the cast would have been AMAZING! Maybe we’ll get a spin off or they can just come back for another season 😭

Didn’t think I’d get emotional to this but I did and reading on the backstory to it made me tear up again. This show has impacted me in a way that I never expected and I’m just glad it was part of my life. It was a great final season and I can’t wait to see what everyone does next.

@@elliecvetkova5821 I’m gonna paraphrase, but Josh would bring a camcorder everyday and film on set whenever possible. Tim found it sweet so Tim allowed Josh to film this scene like that. So when there filming in the limo it felt more like Josh filming his friends and cast mates having fun before they have to say goodbye.

This show came out my second year in college and I didn't expect to get attached. I watch the first episode as a tester when they showed it on Network tv. It literally convinced me to give Disney Plus a shot the day before it released. This show has been such a joy and in a way my last show I'll probably ever connect with watching that's set in high school. I love what they did with the season, but now I'm wishing for a movie so I can see them again. I miss them already.

I can't listen to this song without crying again. I'd already made my peace with Nini not being in the final season, but to hear this song without her made me more emotional than I thought it would. This ending was so perfect. I’m really glad they brought Big Red, Seb and Ej into the final few episodes since they played a big part in the rest of the show. I do kind of wish Nini came back, but I’m ok with this. Also this performance is just incredible and the cover of For Good they did at the very end destroyed me in a good way(emotional damage). The solos for Kate, Frankie and Joe(Plus him on piano), along with everything else was just chefs kiss🫶Goodbye Hsmtmts, and thank you Tim.

s1 came out during my senior year into college era and now ive completed my post grad right before s4 came out. It truly feels like i grew up with these characters and had my own high school experience vicariously through them as i missed out on some stuff due to school changes. this feels like saying goodbye to lifelong friends, as if i was in the drama club with them. I'm really gonna miss this show. I grew up with the original HSM movies and I was very sceptical about this show but gave it a chance anyway and this show was even my first reason to get Disney+ (and it was the first show I watched on it). It was so good. I do wish Nini had a cameo somewhere during the last season but I guess Olivia was too busy with her new music so I totally get it.
