This is fucking great man! You totally nailed it. Since recently re-watching Deathnote and noticing the total medley potential I was ready to ask about this. The song at 2:50 makes the perfect interlude...and I really like the Death feel at 1:12.

Great medley!
I can never find the time to finally finish Death Note, but from the 20 something episodes I already saw, this is amazing. It really captures the atmosphere, and you arranged it very well.
BTW, I was extremely pleased to find out you've put up tabs for this, and they do seem pretty accurate, though I have noticed the part from 5:04 to 5:16 for the right eared rhythm guitar missing, Did you forget to put it in, or do the same notes appear somewhere different in the Medley just without the faster picking?
Anyhow, this is one of the best covers I've found in this area of the interwebs!

you remind me a ton of my younger cousin. Same physical and dress style, followed in my heavy metal footsteps and veered towards thrash, we played all the n64 banjos and tooies and zeldas (to this day we share and trade our games). Also got me into death note lol. My point, this channel hits pretty close to home on different levels.
