I love this. Honestly the only other thing I would've liked to hear that wasn't here, would've been some dipping into the other variations of Ridley's theme from the other Metroid titles. But this... raw, uncut kilos of giant space pterodactyl. Props.

Hirokazu Tanaka actually had nothing to do with the creation of Ridley's theme, or even most of the Super Metroid Soundtrack. Apart from the few reused themes from the original Metroid, such as the title screen, item and appearance jingles, and the tourian theme, all were composed by Minako Hamano and Kenji Yamamoto. Hirokazu Tanaka only ever composed the original Metroid for NES.
