I've listened to several other covers of this song and yet again Toxic does the best. It's so close to the original yet metal with little added. It respects the original yet adds to it enough to be something on it's own and that level of skill blows me away every time.

I played Super Metroid through for the first time in January (never really played past the plant boss before that due to my only way of playing it being an emulator on a hacked wii with shit controls) and I've gotta say, next to Majora's Mask and Halo Combat Evolved it's definitely one of my favorite video games of all time. The praise behind the game is completely warranted.
