TQ was raised in the church (he sang in the choir) but his real education came from the streets, where the first wave of hip-hop music became the soundtrack to his life. "From Monday to Saturday I was hangin', partyin', chasing girls, getting in trouble, and straight-up acting the fool," he admits. "But on Sunday my mother dragged me out of bed to go to church. That's where I developed my singing voice and learned how to make people feel me."

Her first song & music video; LET’S GO TO TOKYO immediate got the attentions from many audiences who love the sounds of the 80’s. Follow the success of LET’S GO TO TOKYO, TQ released 12 more songs & music videos with special appearances of some 80’s icons including Lian Ross, Fancy, Ken Laszlo, Fred Ventura, Linda Jo Rizzo, Trans-X, John Sauli (ROFO). She also teamed up with a Swedish band, ITALOVE with project: RHYTHM OF LOVE. All of her music video were shot and directed by Ian Nguyen. Many of her songs have reached #1 in dance charts and popularity in countries such as Mexico, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Serbia etc…
Recently, she just signed the contract with ZYX Music, a major German record label specialized in Italo Disco/New Wave since the 80’s. Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Tq's song Gimme Some are about the singer's frustration with his female lover's reluctance to have sex with him. Throughout the song, Tq and other male rappers try to convince the girl, Brenda, to give in to their sexual desires. There is an underlying theme of power and control where the men are trying to assert their dominance over Brenda.

The opening lyrics set the tone for the song, as Tq dedicates it to Brenda's physical attributes, specifically her large breasts and buttocks. He immediately sexualizes her and objectifies her body. Tq repeatedly asks Brenda to have sex with him, and he implores her to stop "acting dumb," which implies that he thinks she is being intentionally difficult or withholding.

The other rappers in the song, Mannie Fresh and Wolf, add to Tq's persuasion attempts. Mannie Fresh tries to convince Brenda that he is a better option than her current partner, and Wolf brags about his sexual prowess and boasts about being "seriously hung." Throughout the song, the men use graphic and vulgar language to describe their sexual desires and create a sense of urgency for Brenda to give them what they want.

The lyrics to Gimme Some perpetuate harmful stereotypes about sexual relationships and consent. The men in the song make it clear that they believe Brenda owes them sex, and they use manipulative tactics to try and coerce her.
