As a member of The Braxtons she featured on their debut single The Good Life. Prior to the release of the So Many Ways album, Braxton was forced to leave the group due to her pregnancy. She does share writing credit on several of the songs on the album. Braxton kept a low profile before the premiere of being reunited with her sisters for the WE tv reality show Braxton Family Values.

In 2018 Braxton released her second album "On Earth".

It’s insane how when you listen to the overall meaning of this song that was Traci’s hit single and it’s basically saying to give/receive love and she’s over the hurt and pain(illness) and it’s her last call before it ultimately takes over which is symbolic of her passing. I feel as God’s souls our intuition knows ahead of time what we need to accomplish and this song is so beautiful and symbolic of her goodbyes in the format of a song. I'm so mad that I started rewatching episodes of the BFV recently, because seeing Traci in those episodes have made me so sad. I'm so sorry she's gone. She always got the crappy end of the stick. She's my favorite Braxton like Kloe my favorite Kardashian. I'm so happy she got to live her dream before she left. Everybody dies but not everybody get a chance to live there dreams. She lived it. That is the blessing.❤. She left her stamp on the world to always be remembered. That's what she always wanted to not be forgotten. When you've watched a person so long they grow on u. I just felt I could understand where she was coming from like about the losing weight comment.
