Thank you for sharing such a beautiful love story. Brooke was the love of my life and my best friend too. We knew each other since we were 10 years old and she said I was her first crush. I lost her tragically a year and a half ago. She was gone in a day. She used to sing this song to me all the time with a huge smile on her face. She was a Broadway singer so she would sing it in her own theatrical way. It was beautiful. I turned 50 this year and me and our children try to live everyday with love and carry those wonderful memories with us. Timing is everything! A couple years ago, I traveled out of my state (IN) to run my first marathon. At the pasta dinner the night before the race, I sat at a random table and talked to everyone there. This included a guy from MD, who I discovered had a mutual friend from NC. The next morning at that start line of the race, I was waiting with said friend, and this guy appears again (among a crowd of 15,000, it's nearly impossible to find people there)! We had some more time to talk, and he discovered it was my first race. So he offered to run with me if I wanted the support. Why not? That's how we first got to get to know each other. A couple years and lots of long drives and plane flights later, we are getting married in a couple months!

I married my Amazing Husband on the beach in Mexico 4 yrs ago while this song played in the background the whole time. It was BEAUTIFUL <3 We were High School Sweethearts and he had to move away. As was said, timing is everything. When I was in college, I was working near the university at a pizza parlor and I got mad at my boss and up and quit on the spot (which was very out of character for me). I had the afternoon free and instead of staying near the university (which I usually did) I went to my parents' house about 20 miles away (I didn't have any reason for doing that at the time). When I got there, my parents were still at work and I was looking for something to do so I decided to go to the neighborhood pool (NEVER went there before). When I got there, the pool area was PACKED with people and I couldn't see any place to put down a towel. As I walked around the pool, there was ONE space available next to a lounge chair with no one in it; so I put down my towel and sat down. A few minutes later a girl around my age came and sat in the lounge chair and we started to talk. She worked at a daycare nearby and she and her co-workers brought the kids to the pool on the ONE DAY a week that they did that, on Thursdays. Well, that girl is now my wife and in a couple of weeks we will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. So, follow your instincts even if you don't know why; because there may be something very special around the next corner.

It seems the more interested somebody is in someone, the less interested they try to appear to be in front of them. This video is so cute. Met my husband in college way back in 2004. We parted ways 4 about 7 years and coincidentally found one another stationed at Fort Lee; he in the Army and me in the Air Force.

He played “Drops of Jupiter” in his car after picking me up for dinner on the 4th of July… I guess he was hinting at something after all those lost years. Not long after, he introduced me to this song… By 2013 we were married. 9 years later… 2 kids and going strong.

We have seen Train twice in concert. It’s the only time I have ever seen an act more than once (I’m also not much of a concert person). We definitely will go for round 3, first chance we get.

Love hearing this song live. It takes me back all those years. Every. Single. Time ❤️
