I liked the animitronic at 37:31 because at these conventions I always see the animitronic that screams or is silent but rarely the one that talks. I like that it invites you to a story rather than the same old thing.

Hi I just have a question about these animatronics! As they look so beautifully crafted, many of them use creative ways to frighten people and the robotics are so smooth, I completely understand the price tags, but what are they used for? Are they used in movies, in high class horror houses, or just purchased by very rich horror/Halloween fanatics? Maybe all of the above? I am very curious about this if anyone has any answers!

I feel like 90% of these props would be scarier if you didnt hear the loud pop and hiss from the hydraulics. Some aren't too bad, others just drown out the audio and it gives away the scare way before you walk up to it. Other than that I love seeing what stuff they come up with each year.

Saw a lot of awesome creative stuff but also a lot of people that looked bored which I thought was discouraging. I believe any haunted house should be memorable for everyone but we live in a very extreme social environment where everything is going to be quickly dissected into destructive views. Oh well, keep up with the fun stuff.

A lot of great products, fantastic displays, but this video has too many revisits to products previously seen minutes before, and the pacing is slow at some booths, ex. talking skulls in the beginning. I wasn’t able to go this year, so I’m glad and thankful to at least have this video.

Imagine how ducking scary it would be if any of these animatronics were in haunted houses. I would scream and cry. No doubt about it. UPDATE: one of them was in a haunted house I went to. I ran away from it because I recognized it. It was the nun that flings forwards at you.

That clown house towards the end seemed kinda... poorly planned out? I don't think you really want animatronics touching people -- it seems like a really good way for them to wear down faster, or in a worst case scenario, have someone start throwing hands at a robot. :B Sure, it's the guests' responsibility to know their limits and NOT get violent, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure.

can someone tell me the company who does the glow in the dark props, around 1:18:00 in the video? been looking for them for YEARS. A paintball place about 2 hours from my house has had a few of their pieces there for about a decade rotting away and i haven't been able to find any info on who made them

but solar power, cannot run all that, like that giant electricity management system would drain more than the solar panels can provide, and wind turbines im not sure, i mean they can lower the electricity usage, but they cant run entirely off solar energy and with all that electric usage, its unlikely it will lower the electric bill by a good margin

The head is wearing a mask ( you can see the neck seam) so its a real person. The body is not mounted to the ground (watch the feet) and the arms are not attached to the rim. The only thing animatronic is the pump. 1:05:50

I am watching this at 4:30 AM and I was really interested by all these spooky designs and ideas, when suddenly I feel something to my left, I try to pick it up with my two fingers to put it away because sometimes the buckle of my pants that I keep to my left, can be bothersome

It had legs, it was moist, and it was cold, I flung that fucker in a milisecond and got shivers, thankfully I didn't wake anybody up while saying "Ssshhit!" silently to myself

I can't believe how expensive most of these props are. For example. The spider with a woman's head at 5:28 costs $1,500, at 9:25 where the label says "Themed Dragon Portal" (at the top left) costs $4,796 and at 17:19 the animated family portrait and fire place costs $4,250. I guess the reason why they cost so much is that it's for people who are haunted house enthusiasts, people who own highly popular haunted attractions or for those who are insanely rich.
