Based in Great Britain, they have produced mostly trance music over their career, but have slipped into the realm of progressive house on occasion.
Several of their songs and remixes have appeared on mix albums over the years, most notably Paul Oakenfold's first album in the Tranceport series and X-Cabs's Exposure 1. They have remixed for BT, Art of Trance, and Tiesto, and even released their own mix album in Exposure 3, although that release is widely regarded as the worst in the series.

What sadness and what a shame, that Transa has stopped so fast, in only 6 years (1996-2001) they revolutionized the progressive trance and remix tunes and even improved their best hits (behind the sun, & supernova, remix 2001)

Their melodies are so relentless, they repeat the main parts over and over the way it should be, a lot of great tracks with great main riffs end way too soon, these guy knew how to do it right!!
