On November 22nd, 2002, the band released Trapt, along with the single "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became a fantastic hit, reaching #1 on alternative charts and #16 on pop. Follow-up singles "Still Frame" and "Echo" (with a video featuring Michelle Trachtenberg) did respectably, although they never reached the heights of "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became the official theme song of WWE Bad Blood for June 2003. Trapt eventually hit platinum. After more than one year an EP followed on March 30th, 2004, that included a new song called "Promise" along with live versions of "Made Of Glass" and "Echo".
On September 13th, 2005, the band released their sophomore album "Someone In Control" along with the single "Stand Up". "Stand Up" failed to do as well as any of their previous singles, although it still made an excellent run on active rock stations. "Waiting" and "Disconnected (Out Of Touch)", were also released as singles, and have yet to repeat the success of any of Trapt's self-titled radio hits. The band spent the first half of 2006 co-headlining with Shinedown as part of the Equinox Tour.
A live album was released in September, 2007, containing live tracks from both previous albums with new studio tracks "Stay Alive" and "Everything to Lose".
Trapt hit the studio in July 2007 to begin recording their 3rd album, which was released on 5th August 2008 named "Only Through the Pain...".
Trapt announced in late fall/early winter 2009 they were working on a new album for summer or fall release in 2010. On July 20, 2010, Trapt released their first single "Sound Off," for the upcoming album "No Apologies," due out in stores October 12, 2010.

You cannot look me in the eyes
And i have struggled to see
Why it's so easy to push me aside
I no longer believe
That you were ever on my side
How could you know what i need
When I'm the last thing on your mind
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
So disconnected
Don't feel the motions again
So disconnected
Everything goes over your head
So disconnected
You got me hanging by a thread
So disconnected
When will this cycle end
You don't really know me
I don't think you've ever even tried
Put on the same routine
And so you never have the time
What do you want me to be
Don't you want me in your life
I feel so incomplete
You left me too far behind
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
So disconnected
Don't feel the motions again
So disconnected
Everything goes over your head
So disconnected
You got me hanging by a thread
So disconnected
When will this cycle end
It's to hard to just move on
It's easier said than done
It's too hard to just move on
It's easier said than done
It's too hard to just move on
It's easier said than done
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
Too out of touch, out of touch, to touch you
So disconnected
Don't feel the motions again
So disconnected
Everything goes over your head
So disconnected
You got me hanging by a thread
So disconnected
When will this cycle end
So disconnected
Don't feel the motions again
So disconnected
When will this cycle end
(so disconnected, so disconnected)
When will this cycle end
Trapt's song "Disconnected" is a personal reflection on a deteriorating relationship. The lyrics express frustration and disappointment as the singer realizes that the person he's been reaching out to is completely disinterested and disconnected from anything he has to say. He feels that his feelings are being ignored and that he's being pushed away, which has left him feeling incomplete and frustrated. The song's chorus emphasizes the disconnection the singer feels, as he's too out of touch to connect with the other person, no matter what he does.
The lyrics suggest that the other person is too distracted or preoccupied to care in return, always going through the motions of their routine without paying attention to those around them. The singer feels trapped in a cycle of disappointment and attempts to engage the other person that never seem to go anywhere. The chorus echoes the frustration of feeling like he's hanging from a thread, with no end in sight to the disconnection and lack of communication that characterizes this relationship.
Overall, "Disconnected" is a song about the painful experience of feeling like you're trying to communicate with someone who won't listen, and who is too wrapped up in their own life to care about what's happening around them. It's a feeling that many people can relate to, and the song's powerful chorus will likely resonate with anyone who has ever wished for deeper connections in their lives.

This is actually good music. The fact it has 126000 views has restored my faith in humanity. May not be a lot, but damn if it doesn't say those who watched it have good taste in music.
