On November 22nd, 2002, the band released Trapt, along with the single "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became a fantastic hit, reaching #1 on alternative charts and #16 on pop. Follow-up singles "Still Frame" and "Echo" (with a video featuring Michelle Trachtenberg) did respectably, although they never reached the heights of "Headstrong". "Headstrong" became the official theme song of WWE Bad Blood for June 2003. Trapt eventually hit platinum. After more than one year an EP followed on March 30th, 2004, that included a new song called "Promise" along with live versions of "Made Of Glass" and "Echo".
On September 13th, 2005, the band released their sophomore album "Someone In Control" along with the single "Stand Up". "Stand Up" failed to do as well as any of their previous singles, although it still made an excellent run on active rock stations. "Waiting" and "Disconnected (Out Of Touch)", were also released as singles, and have yet to repeat the success of any of Trapt's self-titled radio hits. The band spent the first half of 2006 co-headlining with Shinedown as part of the Equinox Tour.
A live album was released in September, 2007, containing live tracks from both previous albums with new studio tracks "Stay Alive" and "Everything to Lose".
Trapt hit the studio in July 2007 to begin recording their 3rd album, which was released on 5th August 2008 named "Only Through the Pain...".
Trapt announced in late fall/early winter 2009 they were working on a new album for summer or fall release in 2010. On July 20, 2010, Trapt released their first single "Sound Off," for the upcoming album "No Apologies," due out in stores October 12, 2010.

That's where I'll go
I can't think bout tomorrow
On down the road to the unknown
I will follow
No more time left to borrow
The voice inside is calling me again
The work is long the worries strong
As far as I can see there is no end
We toil through the dead of winter
The darkness lingers
Waiting for a tired sun to shine
You say you can predict the weather
It'll all get better
Soon enough it will be our turn to thrive
Whichever way that the wind blows
That's where I'll go
I can't think about tomorrow
On down the road to the unknown
I will follow
No more time left to borrow
Whichever way that the wind blows
Whichever way that the wind blows
My hands are cold a chill is in the air
It's getting so hard to bear
The seasons change but I can't wait
Nobody ever said that life was fair
Floating down a raging river
I start to shiver
I know I'm close to where the water falls
My only choice is to surrender
To a new adventure
Leave it up to chance to make the call
Whichever way that the wind blows
That's where I'll go
I can't think about tomorrow
On down the road to the unknown
I will follow
No more time left to borrow
Whichever way that the wind blows
Whichever way that the wind blows
Take me
I'm ready and I'm willing
Take me
I'm ready and I'm willing
Take me
I'm ready and I'm willing
Take me
Take me
Whichever way that the wind blows
That's where I'll go
I can't think about tomorrow
On down the road to the unknown
I will follow
No more time left to borrow
Whichever way that the wind blows
Whichever way that the wind blows
Whichever way that the wind blows
The lyrics to Trapt's "The Wind" seem to convey the idea of letting go and following one's instinct to go where the wind takes them. The singer is saying they can't worry about tomorrow and instead follow the voice inside them, even if it leads them down an unknown path. The lyrics also mention the difficulties of life and the changing seasons, but the singer is willing to surrender to fate and take chances on new adventures.
The song's theme is reminiscent of the saying "go with the flow" and encourages listeners to let go of their worries and trust their instincts. The "voice inside" that the singer mentions may refer to their intuition or gut feeling. It's also possible that the voice is a metaphor for a higher power or spiritual guide.
The lyrics use weather and nature imagery to convey the message. The wind blowing represents the unpredictability of life, while the cold and changing seasons signify the difficulties that come with it. The imagery of floating down a river and approaching a waterfall conveys the idea of being taken on a journey and the need to surrender control.
Overall, "The Wind" is a hopeful and uplifting song that encourages listeners to trust their instincts and embrace life's unknown journey.
