“Two States and the Blindness That Follows” once again features the pairing of singer/songwriter Kyle Kersten and multi-instrumentalist Brian Kraft. This time around, Travel by Sea’s sound is bolstered with the addition of long time Southern California players Dan Moore (bass), John Phinney (pedal steel, banjo), Mike Cusick (drums), and Andrew Morrison (guitar). Two years of live shows with the new members have added immeasurably to Travel by Sea’s sonic landscape, allowing the songs to grow and breathe and travel in new directions. Long time listeners will recognize the sparse and desolate themes which underlie the songs and new listeners will undoubtedly be drawn to a collaboration based record that is not afraid to rock and is clearly about the journey, not the destination. The resulting cohesiveness makes “Two States and the Blindness That Follows” their most accomplished release yet. Available at CD and electronic retailers Tuesday October 19, 2010.

Thanks so much for watching! ❤️ Is cargo ship travel for you? What’s the longest maritime journey you have taken? 😊
@julespastor8149

Cool voyage , how long and how much $$??. I worked for my passage wayyyyy back in 1979 on a Hamburg Sud container ship Columbus Queensland from Halifax ,Nova Scotia to New Zealand we sailed straight to Sydney after going through the Panama Canal ,then I got off in Port Chalmers NZ , near Dunedin , an amazing trip ☺.

Hi there fantastic video. I have done a lot of Cal Mac ferry routes in Scotland, Oban to Isle of Mull and the Ullapool route too to Stornoway. It is good fun. Next time try taking a car too.
@rofkr
Its Nice to see a couple enjoying themselves and not complaining about each other.

I completely understand your sadness Julia. When you dream about something and work so hard towards it, there's always bitter sweet feelings when it's accomplished. Further, striving to accomplish your dream gives one's life tremendous meaning and purpose. So once the goal is accomplished it can leave you both with joy and emptiness.

11:35 I love the way she looks at him when he says, "It may be my favorite way to travel."

My favorite way to travel too . Maybe because I grew up on a Greek island . I love the freedom of movement and breathing the fresh air from the sea . I love the whole experience . This video brought me home . Thank you guys 😘
