“Two States and the Blindness That Follows” once again features the pairing of singer/songwriter Kyle Kersten and multi-instrumentalist Brian Kraft. This time around, Travel by Sea’s sound is bolstered with the addition of long time Southern California players Dan Moore (bass), John Phinney (pedal steel, banjo), Mike Cusick (drums), and Andrew Morrison (guitar). Two years of live shows with the new members have added immeasurably to Travel by Sea’s sonic landscape, allowing the songs to grow and breathe and travel in new directions. Long time listeners will recognize the sparse and desolate themes which underlie the songs and new listeners will undoubtedly be drawn to a collaboration based record that is not afraid to rock and is clearly about the journey, not the destination. The resulting cohesiveness makes “Two States and the Blindness That Follows” their most accomplished release yet. Available at CD and electronic retailers Tuesday October 19, 2010.

@Dev W That was a short run Ralph Lauren did. I don't think you can get it anymore.

Where did you get that shirt with the chevron design? Dope! I miss my Navy days.

Who keeps people from getting on them cruise ships sitting out there anchored down ?
Kyle Fegley
Former US Coast Guardsman here, it's 100 yards from military, cruise and commercial ships, hope this helps.

Everyone know you have to be 100 yards away. These guys are morons for getting that close.
Steve Scott
The 100 yard rule is only when the ship is in operations. When we race and cargo ships are anchored in the bay on our route we go right along side them to break the waves to make the water smoother for us. Even when out on my seadoo we get right along side and even talk to the crews and never have come across this problem. Even once a crusieship came in to long for the dock do anchored in the bay and again we races within 20 ft of them and again on the seadoos we cake along the side where they were transferring passengers to the skiff to fo back and forth and had a wonderful conversation with crews and idled around the entire ship. Only thing we gave a wide birth was the anchor line. Captains came out to the look out deck or whatever it's called and waved down to us and was smiling. Pretty sure Canada has about the same rules as the States but also down in Florida I'm sure there's much more issues then the pacific northwest.

@Fifty Doggy There are no education or licensing restrictions in Britain for leisure boats or boaters. There are training schemes that lots of people choose to attend. Your comment is wrong and you can not possibly be UK coast guard. I own two seagoing boats in the UK and have done so for many years.

@Mr. Joshua H How about you heed your own advice.
