Singularity
Traverser Lyrics
I told you once
Here at the bottom
This message you left behind
Will find me
Untangled
With what is infected
Completes the connection
And bides me
Drives me home
I always wanted to find out
While in this temporary state
I can't find it in the falling out
And if all I know
The result is more violent
So obvious
Yet you didn't notice
If left to your own device
You'll find me
Entangled with what I connected
It feeds my intentions
And drives me
Bides me home
I always wanted to find out
While in this temporary state
I can't find it in the falling out
And if all I know
The result is more violent
I have felt what you feel
Told you once
I always wanted to find out
While in this temporary state
I can't find it in the falling out
And if all I know
The result is more violent

Formed in 2004 by David Medairos (guitars/vocals), Robert Spence (bass guitar) and David Shaw (drums), three friends imagined a style of music that carried true and honest weight both in concept and execution. Invoking influences ranging from classical music, metal and jazz, to progressive and experimental rock, they craft a patchwork of emotions and moods into a sprawling landscape of thought provoking music. Songs demand the listener to pay attention from beginning to end, as they often twist off in unexpected directions or odd/even meter shifts mid-song. Vocals imply apocalyptic visions, introverted self analysis and an almost alien perspective of what it means to be human, or to exist at all.
Since its inception, Traverser has consistently and relentlessly gained the respect of concert goers and fellow musicians in Central Florida, challenging audiences with engaging live performances and creative presentation. Traverser has been featured at WJRR's Earthday Birthday, Florida Music Festival, Hard Rock Live, House Of Blues, and several special events for EA Games Tiburon video game design studio.
In late 2009 Traverser announced the addition of former 7 Blue Skies guitarist Jon Shaffer as a permanent member of the band. Now as a four piece project, expectations are high, and Traverser has every intent to deliver.
Crushing and epic at one moment, eerily sweet and liquid the next, Traverser stands poised to prove that thoughtful people will support and understand thoughtful music, and that current musical trends and formulas stand only to be disassembled.
