Volver a caer
Tremenda Trementina Lyrics

Volver a caer

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Tremenda Trementina's song "Volver a caer" are a reflective piece on someone who has fallen back into an old habit of drinking, and the emotions and thoughts that come with it. The singer watches their partner wake up in the morning and feels like they are falling in love all over again. However, the night before was long and bitter, with the singer drinking once again. Despite the negative consequences of their drinking, the walls of their "prison" seem to crumble when they are together. The distance between them disappears, and they become vulnerable when things are going well. The singer doesn't know how they ended up alone, but they do know that their partner's hand is squeezing their heart tightly, like a bittersweet death. Even though they have fallen once again, the singer still loves their partner and is being held tightly by them, so they don't fall again.
