Both are also members of Nine Inch Nails and How to Destroy Angels.
They have won 2 Academy Awards and 2 Golden Globes for Best Original Score for "The Social Network" and "Soul" alongside Jon Batiste
The music is electronic in basis, but mostly organic sounding with lots of experiments and emphasis on sound fraying around the edges while focusing on the proper emotional tone for the various scenes.

Being a NIN fan but somehow the fact that he made the soundtrack for this had gone unnoticed for me. Being at the movie theater and watching the opening credits was something I won't forget

and the only people who miss out on this AMAZING film are ones that go "oh that Facebook Movie? screw that". (i went in as a NIN fan, came out praising Trent Reznor *and Ross* for adding a another deep layer to an already amazing film...they filled it with emotion, when without this score, the movie would not have been the same...even Timberlake claims that the soundtrack MAKES the film what it is).

The first time I realized that Inception's soundtracks didn't win any awards, I was pissed! I was like "who the fuck had enough balls to sidetrack the great Hans Zimmer!" Then I saw this movie...'nuff said

This song reminds me of landing in paris at 2am waiting for the luggage getting into the taxi super tired hearing random words while looking out the window and watching the empty roads and the shiny but blurry lights
