I hate this kind of titling too. This is just a collection of historical images that were often in history books or magazines. Some were taken for media. This is right up there with those, "25 Things You Didn't Know About..." titles, where I get irritated, because you have no idea what I do and don't know. It could have just been named something like "25 Things You Might Not Have Known About...", and it would have been just as interesting and not irritating.

OK, I’ve watched almost half of this video and the most “not appropriate“ photo I’ve seen is Dali’s goat drawn carriage. Being that that photo of the burning monk and that photo of the naked girl running down the street screaming, covered in napalm (not included in the first half of this video) are absolutely necessary in a history book, I don’t see how the photograph of Dali is inappropriate.

In the H-Bomb photos, I noticed a technical error the narrator made. The underwater explosion was an Atomic Bomb, not an H-Bomb. If it were an H-Bomb it would have been up to at least 1,000 times more powerful and would have filled the entire frame of the photo and vaporized everything including the photographer and his camera. Still, a fantastic photo!

I haven’t watched this video yet, but I can already tell you, the only photos that aren’t appropriate for history books are fake, i.e. doctored photos. Even then, if an explanation is included, that’s fine.
