His father was a drummer and a musician. For his 15th or 16th birthday, his father got him some time in his friend's recording studio. He made his first record, which was mostly sold to his friends and family. At Idyllwild School for the Arts, an international boarding school east of Los Angeles, he studied classical guitar. In his senior year of high school, he signed a record deal with Geffen Records. After graduation, he moved to LA and began working with producers such as John Alagia (John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews) and The Laboriel Brothers (Sting, Paul Mccartney). Other than an EP, none of the recordings he made with Geffen ever came out. He was dropped from the label in 2008.
Subsequently, he toured and played with acts such as Steel Pulse, The Wailers, Matisyahu, Stevie Nicks, Ben Harper, Colbie Caillat, Los Lobos, Ziggy Marley, Rusted Root, and many others.
His album, KALA, written in Hawaii and recorded in Los Angeles, was released on August 21, 2015. It debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart.[1]
Released on June 1st, 2018, The Fruitful Darkness was Hall's first completely independent release.

The Rascals Have Returned
Trevor Hall Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Stir it up stir it up stir up that sweetness inside
Mama has been heating up that breakfast for quite some time it's time to swallow and show them we're not hollow
That we feel fine
We feel divine
Bhakti is on our side
Grab the sun and the moonlight
Oh it's time to turn some heads
And sing this chant
Mister mister
There ain't no secret
Love is over and beneath it
The rascals have returned to come and burn all of the darkness that we find
Mister mister
There ain't no secret
Love is over and beneath it
The rascals have returned to come and burn all of the darkness trying to hide
Well our love is universal it draws out perfect circles in the sky
And oh it flows quite gently always giving plenty day or night
Well I'm telling it like it is see so many fruits on this tree mangos apples lemons and some limes
Under one sky we're dancing everyone is romancing drinking golden lemonade with pride
Ram sita ram
Shyam rahde shyam
In Trevor Hall's song You Find Me, the lyrics are centered around the theme of love, unity, and positivity. The opening lines of "We got attracted like bees coming to the hive, Stir it up stir it up stir up that sweetness inside" refer to a couple's attraction to each other and how they bring out the best in one another. The metaphor of the hive refers to the idea that they have found their home or their soulmate.
The next quatrain "Mama has been heating up that breakfast for quite some time it's time to swallow and show them we're not hollow, That we feel fine, We feel divine, Bhakti is on our side, Grab the sun and the moonlight," refers to the idea of nourishment and the metaphor of a meal. They have been preparing themselves for this moment and now it's time to show the world that they are ready to spread positivity and love with the help of Bhakti, which is a concept in Hinduism meaning devotion or love that is directed towards a personal god.
The final quatrain "Oh it's time to turn some heads, We're gonna dance to it all night, And sing this chant, Mister mister, There ain't no secret, Love is over and beneath it, The rascals have returned to come and burn all of the darkness that we find" encourages people to unite and spread love in the face of darkness or negativity. The chant of "Mister mister, There ain't no secret, Love is over and beneath it" reinforces the idea of love being the core of everything and the most powerful force in the world.
