Songz was born Tremaine Aldon Neverson on November 28, 1984, in Petersburg, Virginia. Raised a military brat, he recognized his vocal abilities at the age of 14. Reluctant to sing, he began performing with encouragement by friends and family. After graduating from high school, Songz moved to New Jersey to begin his music career.

I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I miss the way you kiss
I miss the way wear them heels and make it switch
Miss the way your hair blows in the wind
Miss the way you put on your makeup
Miss the way you love me too much
It's everythin' about you, baby
Wanna know where you been lately
Do you go out, do you still live at your old house?
Do you got somebody new in your life?
'Cause I can't get you out of my mind
And I wanna erase but I can't stop seein' your face
In every girl I try to replace you with
Why can't I get over it? Simply 'cause I can't
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop
Missin' everythin' you say
Missin' all the crazy love we made
Why'd you throw it all away?
I want you to know
It's been hell tryna do this without you here
Baby, '07 supposed to be our year
You confront my worst fears
And I had my doubts every time you was goin' out
'Cause I knew you were tell me lies
And I can't get that outta my mind
And I wanna erase but I can't stop seein' your face
In every girl I try to replace you with
Why can't I get over it? Simply 'cause I can't
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
Wish I could wake up and forget about you
Not tryin' to call you when I know I want to
I gotta fight this feelin' can't let it take over me
You just don't understand how much you were a part of me
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you, wish I was still with you
I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no
I can't stop missin' you
I can't stop missin' you
I don't wanna stop, I can't stop missin' you
Baby, I can't stop missin' you
No, no, no, no, I can't stop missin' you
Trey Songz's "Missing You" is a heartbreaking ballad about longing for a lost love. In the verses, Trey reminisces about the little things he misses most, like the way his ex-girlfriend puts on her makeup or the way her hair blows in the wind. He asks if she's moved on to someone new, but he can't seem to shake the memories of her. Despite trying to forget, Trey sees her face in every girl he tries to be with, and he's filled with longing and regret.
One of the most interesting things about this song is that it was released on Valentine's Day in 2007, which could have contributed to its popularity as a love song. Additionally, Trey's use of repetition in the chorus ("I can't stop missin' you, no, no, no, no") adds to the emotional weight of the lyrics, emphasizing how much he misses his former lover.
Another interesting aspect of this song is the way Trey uses vivid imagery to paint a picture of his memories with his ex, from her heels to her makeup. These descriptions help to bring the listener into the story and evoke a sense of nostalgia.
Overall, "Missing You" is a powerful and relatable song about heartbreak and loss. Trey's emotional delivery paired with the relatable lyrics makes it easy for listeners to feel his pain and relate to his longing for a lost love.
