The lyrics of ABBA's song "One of Us" describe the aftermath of a failed romantic relationship, as experienced by one of the former partners. The persona feels that they missed out on the chance for a great romance, and blames their ex-partner for depriving them of that opportunity. They feel that they were a "concealed attraction," hidden away from the excitement of love and passion that they craved. The persona, acting like a stubborn child, then decided to end the relationship by dealing the final blow.
