Kati and Gini, known to everyone as the female vocalists responsible for Blutengel hits such as Weg zu mir and Seelenschmerz, left the band in 2002 because "Blutengel was becoming too cliché", and went on to concentrate on their own musical project "Tristesse De La Lune".
As of december 2006, Gini is the sole member of the band and is currently working on a new album.
