Overall Meaning

The song 'Sunrise' by Trixxy begins with a repetitive chant of the lyrics 'Hey hey he-hey he-hey hey he-hey he-hey hey he-hey he-hey yeah yeah... Hey-yeah-yeah-ee-yeah (When they come for me) Move your body, yeah.' The lyrics suggest that the person singing the song is encouraging the listener to move their body and dance when they are feeling joyous or when they feel threatened. The singer is trying to create a sense of euphoria and positivity through their music. The repetitive nature of the lyrics also implies that this is somewhat of a mantra to be chanted repeatedly, further adding to the sense of ecstasy.

The song then moves to the chorus where the singer says 'I can see the sunrise.' This could be interpreted as the singer feeling uplifted and optimistic, as the sunrise signifies a new beginning and a fresh start. Additionally, the lyrics “(When they come for me)” suggest that there is a sense of impending danger or threat, and the sunrise is a symbol of hope and new opportunities. There is a sense of empowerment conveyed through the lyrics, as the singer implies that one can conquer their fears and challenges by focusing on the positive aspects of life.

As a Kandi Kid of the late 90s early 00s, I have to say...this song made my morning when the sun was coming up and I started feeling my roll again. I always got depressed when then the sun came up, but not when I heard this song. This song literally brought back my roll at times. Thank you Trixxy!

LOVE this track. It was one of the very first HHC tunes I ever heard, back in the late '90s (thanks to the original Napster). In my area of the USA, it was nearly impossible to find Happy Hardcore anywhere back in those days. The stores didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked for it. This track, along with a few others from that era kickstarted my love for HHC, which roars on to this very day. Cheers Trixx. I can see the Sun rise....
