I don't think there's 'the worst game in the series'. People say it is Underworld (I have the PS2 version and is a terrible port), others say it is Angel of Darkness or the first three games, but I also saw some people love it. It's a matter of taste, I guess. I personally LOVE Legend.

To me Legend was simply missing all the "Tomb Raider" part. It was a generic shooter, average at best. I mean if someone calls the first three "the worst of the series" they're obviously not a tomb raider fan (Since they started the entire thing?!?). They have those chunky blocky graphics and worlds yet manage to convey stunning atmosphere, packing action scenes (that mostly do without cutscenes), challenging yet entertaining bossfights (TR3 is a good example there, each area boss being interesting on their own) and a canon Lara Croft character. TR7 just breaks with that entirely, adds her a crew etc... Its hard for me to even recall TR7s story because the levels, as I see it, were absolutely generic and uninteresting.

+Thiefnuker calling people 'no true fans' on the pure basis that they dislike the first three games already shows your immature and short-sighted. Keep in mind that Tomb Raider has been rebooted twice, and all three series are vastly different. It's just a matter of what 'era' you grew up in. Legend sticks with me because it's demo was one of the first things I played on my ps2, therefore I have more fond memories of the Crystal Dynamics period than the Core Design period, which I recall as the games my parents/ancestors used to fawn over, just like Tekken and Sonic for example.

Plus, there's the whole universal agreement on what is 'fact' and 'opinion' but whatever...

Wait a moment, I must digest the bullshit you said. The worst game in the entire series? (4.5 million copies... Yeah sure, it was a flop; and what about The Angel of Darkness?).
I will start by saying that I have known Tomb Raider series through The Angel of Darkness and I remember that I thought that it was the first game of the series and that it was connected with the trilogy but whatever. I then found out that there were old Tomb Raiders and I played them and I liked them too. The fact is that I can't see the differences between the classic games and the trilogy. Also Lara isn't different from the Lara of classic games (They two have got the same personality so what's the problem? :\) . Yes, in the trilogy there is also action but there's also much exploring and unfortunately it's a short game. I don't understand why there's too much hate among classic fans and trilogy fans; I mean I met classic fans who didn't like Tomb Raider 3 or 2 but loved other games of the series. Aren't they Tomb Raider fans now? Because that's what you said; so stop please. Because if we must decide who is or not a Tomb Raider fan by what games he plays then we have got problems. BIG problems.

Lol. Ailein Duinn isn't a "person" it's the name of the Celtic song. The title translates to "Black Allen." If I'm not mistaken it's a woman mourning the loss of her husband at sea. The woman who wrote it was named Annag Chaimbeul.

I agree. I like her confidence in the Legends series. Not really a fan of the proportion choices they made for her Legends design. A bit too cartoony. I like her Underworld look. Because Tomb Raider reinvents itself every decade it has made a bit of a divided fan base.

I don't mind the survivor trilogy. I was afraid it was going to be more like Uncharted, but I am happy to say it isn't. Unlike Uncharted, the new Tomb Raider games maintain the puzzle elements for the optional tombs while also adding the survivor element. Though, I was sad she didn't gain the sass and confidence back in Shadow. In that game she is over confident which is her flaw.

Even though the Bike Sections were LONG (Seriously, Kazakhstan feels like an entire hour of shooting guys down and then finally getting to a somewhat fun section which lasts 10% of the section!), the song is at good enough to make it somewhat enjoyable.

I do not understand the people that say the motorbike sections were bad, I acsually feel bad, bcs there are only 2, when they could've more like in ghana (when u arive/leave) or in england (when you arive or at the end of the level, they could've made the mercenaries capture zip and alister and then u'd have to chase them and save them, would've been awesome and would've made so much sense, instead of that mercenery pointing a gun at them untill lara comes)
