Bomber & granater
Troublemakers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Himlen står i lågor
Finns det svar på dom frågor
The above lyrics are from Troublemakers' song, "Bomber & granater," which is a reflection on the destruction and chaos caused by war. The lyrics describe witnessing cities burning and people disappearing, with no one daring to ask questions or offer explanations. The imagery of fires being lit and books burning indicates the destruction of knowledge and the loss of history in times of war. The chorus asks whether it is the bombs and grenades that cause us to see this destruction.
The verse also speaks to the universal effect of war, as death comes calling for all, without mercy. The lyrics express a sense of helplessness and despair at the destruction of dreams and hopes, as people lose everything in the chaos of war. The final line asks if there are answers to the questions raised by the destruction and violence that we see.
