Hundra procent
Troublemakers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Jag slog vad om att det skulle gå
För är det nånting som jag skall svälja
Så måste jag själv få välja
Det har varit torrt, det har varit svårt
Men som du ser så är jag jävligt hård
Jag stod pall när vi såg LOK falla
Hundra procent hundra procent
Om du vill festa med mig så skall det vara till
Hundra procent
Ingenting av det du sagt är sant
En massa tugg som inte stämmer alls
Mycket snack om centiliter
Du är för torsk på brudmeriter
Ner med fingrarna djupt i halsen
Så skall vi sjunga spritljugarvalsen
Snart är du ensam kvar
För alla justa polare dom drar
The first verse of "Hundra procent" describes the singer's thirst for something that they have been waiting for ten years. They made a bet that it would come true and they are determined to choose for themselves. The second verse talks about how difficult it has been but the singer is still standing strong. They reference seeing LOK fall - this could potentially be a reference to the Swedish punk rock band LOK which disbanded in 2004. The singer also mentions having cold drinks waiting in the fridge.
The chorus of the song is "Hundra procent" which means one hundred percent in Swedish. It seems to be a call to partying and having a good time, but only if it's done completely and truthfully. The third verse accuses someone of lying and not being genuine in their actions. The use of the word "torsk", which is Swedish slang for someone who is obsessed with something, suggests that this person is desperate for attention and validation. The final sentence implies that the singer and their true friends will have a good time without this person.
Overall, "Hundra procent" seems to be a song about staying true to oneself and being honest in one's actions. It could also be interpreted as a commentary on fake people and the importance of surrounding oneself with genuine friends.
