1) A French trio
2) A Swedish punk
1) A French trio: Fred Berthet, Arnaud Taillefer & DJ Oil. They met, in 1998, at la Friche Belle (Marseille, France). Their appreciation for '60s / '70s jazz, funk & film scores - plus dance elements - produced a distinctive eclectic sound.
Two years in studio produced a début album - Doubts & Convictions (2001 on Guidance Recordings). Then, Fred departed, leaving a duo. Next they produced a 52 min' film soundtrack - Express Way (filmed in Marseille, OST on Blue Note).
2) A Swedish punk band originally formed in Gothenburg in 1981 with members from Perverts and Göteborg Sound. After a while the band split up in 1991, but reformed in 1995.

Jag fryser
Troublemakers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Dra kork för en sup mina kamrater
Som värmer min pampiga ynkedom
Likt en filt på en friluftsteater
En sprucken bjällra till skratt är allt
Som följer dig hem från krogen
Stjärnorna blinkar så skrämselkallt
The lyrics to Troublemakers' song "Jag fryser" convey a sense of overwhelming coldness, both physical and emotional. The singer feels dead and empty, and seeks solace in alcohol and the camaraderie of their friends. The line "Som värmer min pampiga ynkedom / Likt en filt på en friluftsteater" (which translates to "that warms my pompous misery / Like a blanket at an outdoor cinema") suggests a sense of pride in their own despair, as if it is a performance meant for others to witness.
The second verse continues the theme of loneliness and isolation, with the only company on the way home from the bar being the sound of laughter from a broken bell. The final line, "På vår tapperhetsolle i skogen" (which translates to "On our hill of bravery in the woods"), is ambiguous - it could be interpreted as a sarcastic commentary on the futility of bravado in the face of life's challenges, or as a genuine expression of hope that there is still some bravery left in the singer's heart.
Overall, "Jag fryser" is a poignant reflection on the pain and alienation that can come with living in a harsh and unforgiving world.
