Jobba
Troublemakers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Dags att jobba för sin peng
Din slöe fan lägg på en rem
Är du herre eller är du dräng?
Har du inga pengar kvar
Får du gå med röva bar
Skämmas inför både mor och far
Efter allt jävla slit
Blir det inget paradis
Du får nog ta hissen ner
Där finns det kneg åt många fler
Du sliter för din kosing varenda dag
Glömmer bort att leva
Är det så du vill ha't?
The Troublemakers song "Jobba" is about the struggles of working hard for a living and the societal pressures that come with it. The first verse talks about waking up and going to work to earn money, and questioning whether one wants to be a master or a servant. The second verse emphasizes how being broke can lead to shame and how ending up as a slave is not the ideal way to live. The chorus repeatedly encourages listeners to "jobba," urging them to continue to work hard despite the difficulties they may face.
Overall, the song is a commentary on the modern working class and the difficulties they encounter in their daily lives. The lyrics highlight the importance of working hard to make ends meet, but also shed light on the sacrifices that come with doing so. The emphasis on the importance of not losing sight of life and the dangers of living a life consumed by work is a reminder to listeners to find balance and enjoy life despite the hardships.
