Frölunda och Hisingen och Kortedala torg
We are the Troublemakers ifrån staden Göteborg
Ja Frölunda och Hisningen och Kortedala Torg
Ååå Göteborg
Ååå The Troublemakers
Hej alla glada människor från staden Göteborg
Frölunda och Hisingen och Kortedala torg
We are the Troublemakers ifrån staden Göteborg
Ja Frölunda och Hisningen och Kortedala Torg
Ååå Göteborg
The lyrics to Troublemakers' song "Staden Göteborg" (City of Gothenburg) are a celebration of the city and its people. The song starts with a greeting to all the happy people from Gothenburg, specifically those from the neighborhoods of Frölunda, Hisingen, and Kortedala Torg. The Troublemakers then introduce themselves as hailing from the same city and these neighborhoods. The song repeats this introduction twice more, emphasizing the pride and unity felt in being a Troublemaker from Gothenburg.
The chorus consists of the band chanting the names of the city and themselves, both in a celebratory tone. This repetition serves to reinforce the song's theme of unity and community pride. The use of Swedish language in the lyrics adds to this message by creating a sense of shared culture and language among those from Gothenburg.
Overall, "Staden Göteborg" is a simple yet effective song that celebrates the tight-knit community found in cities like Gothenburg.
