Alright this may sound crazy but here's a storyline:Two boys are in a relationship. They've been fine but one is getting more an more depressed. The other is desperately trying to bring them up, but even though they live on the same apartment, the boy hides himself in his room, ashamed and sad. It gets to the point where the other boy is desperate, and he needs his boyfriend to tell him anything, even if it's to break up, because he's scared that he's why his boyfriend is depressed. The boyfriend gets abusive to deal with his depression, but the boy doesn't care. He'll do anything for him, and would rather be hurt and broken then never hear his voice again. Angry and depressed the boyfriend kills himself, the boy heard the gunshot and runs to save him, but it's too late. The boy wants him to say anything, hit him, do anything to know he's okay, but he's gone, the room is quiet, and his voice will never be heard again.

I feel like this is the best song off WILD in terms of form. Throughout the song, you have subtle echoes of the vocals, which sort of bring to mind the idea that there's nothing/no one there. The chorus has lots of BGM compared to vocals, again, bringing out the idea of silence. What hits me the most is the last chorus, with the gun shots. The silence is piercing like bullets. Damn, Troye. This is a piece of art in itself. Kudos.

I knew the EP was going to be good simply because it was made by Troye, but I never imagined I would like it this much. I love that he's calling the series "Blue Neighborhood"Thank god he came out with new music I think this song Ease and Fools are my favorites from the album, but the whole album and all of Troye's music in general are AMAZINGGGG. I CANT WAIT FOR MORE! I just did a cover of WIld as well as Fools on my channel, and it would absolutely make my day if you could just it out or one of my original songs:)) However I understand if you cannot, I understand we all are busy.Above all, please have a lovely day and spread as much positivity as possible :)!

+Kate B. :) I like all of Troyes song but I love the WILD EP more, it showed a different side of Troye that we haven't seen before. It shows more of his personal deep side. That is why I love this EP. This screams TROYE SIVAN. I love him so much. He's a good role model to his fans.

whenever i want to go back to happy memories i listen to blue neighborhood and watch troye’s old yt videos. takes me back to when i was in the closet, in love w my bestfriend and just a pure little gay. i found so much joy in his music and within the fandom 💙
