Read Full Bio ↴Truckfighters is a stoner rock band from Örebro, Sweden, formed in 2001.
After releasing several demos in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003. In 2005 they released their debut album Gravity X on both MeteorCity Records and Fuzzorama Records. Their follow-up album, Phi, was released in 2007 by Poison Tree Records in the U.S. and on the Fuzzorama label elsewhere. Their latest album, V, was released on September 30, 2016.
Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu (with whom they have toured), and Kyuss. They have been featured on the MTV Sweden show "Fuzz"
The film Truckfighters by Joerg Steineck and Christian Maciejewski portrays the band's life. It was released in December 2011 and features interviews with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. The film provides an ironic, entertaining view of the three "ordinary" guys who transform into Fuzz Monsters onstage.

Superfunk
Truckfighters Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
If it's good or just evil
Oh lord
No such thing has ever happen before
Dear lord
But if we're look inside the idiots door
a superfunk will hit you back to the floor
There must be a big imperfection
is it his or his satisfaction
Oh lord
No such thing has ever happen before
Dear lord
But if we're look inside the idiots door
a superfunk will hit you back to the floor
He will happen til they say no more
cut of his extensive powers now
The lyrics to Truckfighters's song Superfunk are intriguing and can be interpreted in many ways. To me, the song seems to be suggesting that sometimes people unknowingly give us something that can either be good or evil, and we don't quite know how to feel about it. The lyrics continue to discuss an imperfection and satisfaction; perhaps this is referencing the idea that sometimes we are given gifts that may not be perfect, or we may not be entirely satisfied with the outcome of a situation.
As the song continues, the lyrics mention the "idiot's door" and suggest that if we were to look inside, a "superfunk" would hit us back to the floor. This line is particularly intriguing, and it could be interpreted in many ways. Perhaps the "idiot's door" is a metaphor for our own weaknesses or flaws, and the "superfunk" represents the consequences we face when we delve too deeply into them. It's possible that the song is cautioning us not to get too caught up in our own selfish desires and to always be aware of the consequences of our actions.
Overall, the lyrics to Superfunk by Truckfighters are thought-provoking and have a unique vibe to them. The song contains a certain level of complexity and room for interpretation, making it an interesting piece of music to analyze.

Stoner rock is not repetitive nor is fuzz or desert or psychedelic. its a journey with no end in sight, a trip to unknown parts of the brain, a primeval spine tingling feeling that some get and some will not.. I LOVE endless trips of aural delight that transcend and inspire the back and head to start nodding without objection. Desert Rock Ireland ~ finding a groove in the spaces in between ~ :)
