The unpredictability and unexpectedness of life has made its way into my new words and expressions

There is still time to make a positive change, even though you may have wasted a lot of time in the past

I concentrate on mine giving minds a new facelift
I am focused on improving myself and helping others change their perspectives and attitudes for the better

Political rallies with bullets speed to your core
Political rallies can quickly turn violent with the sound of bullets firing being all too common

Blood sweeps through the floor red sheets in the morgue
Blood is spilled and death is all too common in times of war and violence

A widow willow weeps to the streets in the raw
A female mourner cries in public, showing her raw emotions and pain

Like when will it cease when will peace reach us all
When will the violence and fighting end? When will we all experience peace?

Fast forward to the present and the beast that’s still at call
Despite the national changes, the underlying problems still remain and create challenges

Change your face and name at least you spoken for
Even if you try to hide or change yourself, you will always have a voice that can be heard

This is the same oppression my peeps can ill afford
My people cannot afford to endure any more oppression or ill treatment

Privatised basic health water and minerals
The basic needs of healthcare, clean water, and essential nutrients have all been turned into profit-making businesses

Analyse ancient change and slaughters on the news
We often hear about the violence and wars of the past through the news and media

But my people still generate a glow in the room
Despite the challenges, my people still possess the light and positivity that can brighten up a room

It don’t take no rocket scientist to get me to the moon
I do not require any special expertise or skill to achieve greatness and success
