Turk was first discovered in 1996 when he was rapping for Cash Money Records (brothers Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Baby” Williams ) Later that same year, he made his debut with a cameo on Juvenile’s solo debut, “Solja Rags”. While He cut another album, “Untamed Guerilla”, for Cash Money as a follow-up to “Young and Thuggin’” but it was never released as he became embroiled in a similar contractual conflict as Juvenile and B.G.
In 2003, Turk followed B.G. to Koch Records, where he recorded “Raw and Uncut”, technically his second solo album.
Turk is currently serving a sentence of 10 years for attempted murder on a federal agent during a drug raid.

Gotta be a certain cool for you to walk like this
I'm the type of dude to shut it down right quick
Whenever I'm in the stu I never miss, it's all hits
It's "guaranteed to bang", no Kiernan, I'm in my zone
Don't bother me when I'm working, I ain't picking the phone
On the come up and no, I ain't did it alone
They say he's too cocky, I must be hiding a clone
I paint pictures whenever I'm rapping
The wait is over, it's time for the take over
I'm top tier, top of the range, no rover
Somebody stop him, the boy's spazzing
I'm having fun with it, I'm steady laughing
Too many jokers in the game
Running the same race, but we're not in the same lane
Obama campaign, my nigga, I'm bringing change
I'm concerned with making money while niggas' buying chains
So it's clear we ain't cut from the same cloth
Didn't wanna put me on, so I'm taking these niggas off
I'm just doing my thing, can't nobody do it better you ain't never met a nigga like me
The dude kinda cool, he a smooth operator, your girl already do so you ain't gotta like me
No you ain't gotta like me, I'm just doing my thing
You ain't it like me, ya'll niggas is lame
You can't sit with us, ya'll niggas can't hang
We're about to take off, man this shit 'bout to bang
BANG, BANG
Let me talk my shit
It's finne go down when I rhyme like this
Forever a problem whenever I write my scripts
When last did they ever do it quite like this? (NEVER)
Nobody been as nice like this
My city won't give me props, I gotta fight for the shit
But I'm fine with the shit, I been grinding and shit
Focusing on what could be the perfect timing, that's it
And I been thinking 'bout
All the times I could've blown, I'm just thinking aloud
We're all running the same race, I'm picking my route
'Cause we're not in the same lane, I had to figure this out
You know, I was 16 with a mixtape
I'm 20 something now, how long will this shit take?
I'm tryna put us all on in a big way
So when I'm gone, you should applaud instead of bring hate
I bring pain to these niggas on the microphone
Matter of fact, you whack niggas should leave the mic alone
They say I'm cocky, I dare a nigga to stop me
Press record and I'mma show you why I deserve to be top three
Obama campaign, my nigga I'm bringing change
I'm concerned with making money while niggas' buy chains
So it's clear we're not cut from the same cloth
Didn't wanna put me on, so I'm taking these niggas off
I'm just doing my thing, can't nobody do it better you ain't never met a nigga like me
The dude kinda cool, he a smooth operator, your girl already do so you ain't gotta like me
No you ain't gotta like me, I'm just doing my thing
