Their stage name is a portmanteau of English language words twin and will. They both debuted in 2001 under Zomba Records Japan and released their first single in 2002. In 2004, Twill Signed with BAMG for an international contract until 2009. They both went back to Japan and signed to Nayutawave Records, a division of Universal Music Group. The duo is famous for singing the second opening of "Digimon Xros Wars".
