The lyrics of Twiztid’s song ‘Alone’ talk about feeling alone but also having the feeling of being constantly watched by something or someone. The song seems to be about mental illness and paranoia, which is emphasized by the repetition of the line “I must be insane”, suggesting that the singer feels like they are losing their grip on reality. The line “All obsessed with the taste of flesh” being said both forwards and backwards adds to the creepiness of the song and supports the idea of something sinister watching and following the singer.
The repetitive nature of the song's lyrics creates a sense of endlessness, making it feel like the singer is trapped in some kind of loop. The line “Even though you think you're alone, they're always everywhere” is repeated several times throughout the song, further emphasizing the idea of an ever-present, threatening force. The final lines of the song take on a darker tone, with the singer saying that they don't care about the thing that has been watching them, but also acknowledging that it will never leave them alone.
Overall, the lyrics of 'Alone' create a haunting, unnerving atmosphere that talks about mental illness and paranoia, exploring the fear of being watched and never being truly alone.
