Dr. Weasel
Twiztid Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
What are you picking on your easel?
I should be sucking diesel
The Darkness is closing in man
The Darkness is fucking closing in
And you're playing ghost
You son of a bitch
I pay you 35 dollars an hour
Get every cent with that I put into you motherfucker
Where are you motherfucker?
Doctor diesel, doctor Weasel
Picking on your easel
My God, you're nothing but a worthless piece of shit
In this song, Twiztid addresses Dr. Weasel, possibly their therapist or psychiatrist. They ask why he is so focused on his art, picking on his easel, while they are struggling with their inner demons. They express their frustration with the darkness that is closing in on them and feel like Dr. Weasel is not helping but rather playing the role of a ghost. They feel like they are wasting their time and money on him, especially since they pay $35 per hour. They call him out on his incompetence and call him a worthless piece of shit.
The lyrics suggest that Twiztid may feel like they are not getting the help they need from their therapist or psychiatrist. They feel like Dr. Weasel is not understanding their struggles, and instead is preoccupied with his own art. It is possible that this song is a commentary on the mental health industry and how it can be difficult to find the right professional help. Overall, the lyrics express feelings of frustration and disappointment with the therapeutic process.
