Get Through the Day
Twiztid Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Separating the real I from I canβ²t believe about me
The things that them say
Them only words
Why is you giving 'em weight?
You should be focused on come up, ignoring the hate
You should be number one
In a long line of them trying to be great
Either itβ²s real or it's fake
Sleeping on us was the first of a million mistakes
No, we're not trying to replace
We just tryna cut a lane while people awake
You gonβ² remember the name
You gonβ² remember the face and the paint
Others might be in the game
But none of 'em do it the same
Hideous Twiztid insidious mental escape
Infecting realities negative state
We gonβ² break it apart and then blow it away
Let out the madness and get through the day
Helping me get through the day
Please take away all the pain
My minds broken blown away
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Something take this pain away
I can't take another day
Feel like digging my own grave
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Helping me get through the day
Please take away all the pain
My minds broken blown away
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Something take this pain away
I canβ²t take another day
Feel like digging my own grave
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Who gives a fuck what them say
They couldn't walk in our shoes for a day
Give β²em a second and they'll all be begging
For us to forget that they mentioned our name
And I know you feeling the same
Like we're sharing a pain or a brain
Or thereβ²s something that keeps us connected
Iβ²ll never forget it, like links on a chain
Man they must be insane
They got it Twiztid just thinking
That they had a seat on our train
I get so explicit when I'm in the midst of some haters
And I feel like I wanna rage
Easy like turninβ² a page
Jimmy the lock on the cage
Gimme the mic and the stage
We'll be the LED in the zeppelin
To take all the pain and the problems away
Now letβ²s get through the day
Helping me get through the day
Please take away all the pain
My minds broken blown away
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Something take this pain away
I can't take another day
Feel like digging my own grave
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Helping me get through the day
Please take away all the pain
My minds broken blown away
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
Something take this pain away
I canβ²t take another day
Feel like digging my own grave
(Tell me about it, now here we go)
My day gets lost in this maze
Up inside my mind
Throw me a line
I need more time
Listen to me
Lock the world down and stay out
Just tryna find me a way out
Find me an escape
From everything that I hate
My day gets lost in this maze
Up inside my mind
Throw me a line
I need more time
Listen to me
My day gets lost in this maze
Up inside my mind
Find me an escape
From everything that I hate
