I can't escape this phase,
Everywhere I turn there's another wall,
And the medicine cabinet feeling like I'm stuck in a maze,
I can only find my way out by subtraction, murder is my reaction,
Look in the basement and you can see what I mean,
People are ripped to pieces, soaking in gasoline.
With a black heart,
Addicted to pitch dark,
I still don't understand why I'm so in love with Killing,
So I just sit and stare up at the ceiling,
Hoping I get to take this jacket off,
But not with all this crazy talk,
Maybe I will tend to find my sanity,
Or just embrace the fate the voices have handed me
[Chorus]
I'm laughing like a lunatic,
I'm laughing like a lunatic.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,
I'm laughing like a lunatic,
I'm laughing like a lunatic!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha,
I'm laughing like a lunatic!
I'm laughing like a lunatic!
Bloody bodies in the bathtub,
For over two whole weeks, and it smells deadly,
Pieces of their flesh fall from off of their bone,
And float along on top of the water like confetti,
People in the basement cry cause their hungry,
And they want to be fed,
Now I'm lookin' for replacements,
All of the others that I brought in are dying or either dead,
Standin' in the parkin' lot of a shoppin' mall,
With a "Ima take one home" look in my eye
Moments later,
Driving home and I got it in the trunk,
Everything is gonna be alright.
Why did I get so worked up
To the point that I thought that I couldn't go through with it,
When every time I do it
The thrill is even better then the first time that I ever did it.
[Chorus]
The song HA HA HA HA HA HA! by Twiztid is a dark and intense look into the mind of someone who is struggling with mental illness, specifically homicidal tendencies. The lyrics describe the singer waking up feeling trapped and frustrated, unable to find a way out of the darkness in their mind. They feel a compulsion to kill, and the only way to satisfy this urge is to murder those around them. The basement is described as a gruesome scene, with people ripped to pieces and soaked in gasoline. The singer feels that murder is the only way to find their way out of the maze that is their mind.
The lyrics also touch on the singer feeling different from the start, with a "black heart" and an addiction to the darkness. They don't understand why they are so in love with killing, but it is an urge that they cannot ignore. The chorus repeats the phrase "I'm laughing like a lunatic" over and over again, emphasizing the mental state of the singer. The second verse describes the singer's victims, with their bodies decomposing and falling apart in the bathtub. The people in the basement cry out for food, and the singer seeks out new victims to replace the ones who are dying or dead. The song ends with the singer reflecting on the thrill of killing, despite the initial hesitation and fear.
Overall, HA HA HA HA HA HA! is a disturbing and intense look into the mind of someone struggling with mental illness and homicidal tendencies. The lyrics describe a world where murder is the only way to find release from the darkness, and the singer is trapped in a cycle of violence and death. The song is an exploration of the darker aspects of humanity and the human psyche, and it is not for the faint of heart.

VEVO, take note here. This is how you should do ALL your videos. People looking for these don't care if the song has curses, they don't care if the video is violent. This is Psychopathic! We want the artist raw and pure emotions and messages in the most uncensored form. WHOOP WHOOP

A decade later and this is still one of Monoxide’s hardest verses
Ricky Ray
Monoxide is more of a clean-cut killer in this, Madrox is pure psychotic. They play it very well. The part where Jamie is taping up the box is exactly when I saw the madness.

I love them all, but Twiztid will always have a special place in my heart. ♡

I'd love to see this expanded into a full length film, but hey...the video does that exceptionally well.

I came across this song by accident 15 years ago, and for some reason I was taken back. I come back to this song every so often because it’s somewhat soothing lol
