I'd Like To Watch You Fall But Yer Already Gone
The song "Hollywood I'm Coming" by Twiztid is an aggressive rant against the music industry and those who try to stand in their way. The lyrics are filled with violent imagery and threats, as the artists express their frustration with the mainstream music scene and the competition within it. The opening lines mention a "Festival" and a "Sewinwhats," which may refer to a specific event or album release that Twiztid is reacting to.
The chorus, "Burn black smoke fills the sky, you bring the wicked out of me, your killer is I, I'd like to watch you fall but you're already gone," reinforces the idea that Twiztid is out for blood and won't tolerate any disrespect or opposition. The verses specifically call out other artists who Twiztid thinks are weak or unoriginal, and challenges them to test their skills in a rap battle. The line "its the fame game homie and we don't play that" is telling – Twiztid may be anti-establishment, but they understand the importance of public perception and the power of fame.
Overall, "Hollywood I'm Coming" is a fierce and uncompromising declaration of Twiztid's independence and talent. They refuse to be silenced or overlooked, and are willing to go to extreme lengths to defend their art.
