Meeting bandmates while he was at a party in high school, The All-American Rejects were picked up by Doghouse Records, and later DreamWorks Records, and finally signed with the major label Interscope Records then Epitaph Records.

He released the single "Air" in 2013.

Overall Meaning

In this song, Tyson Ritter is contemplating a relationship and its ups and downs. I hope Tyson is on Parenthood tonight. Last week he had more lines. The director makes all the actors talk a certain way. There's a lot of arguing between the stars of the show. Love it and that Tyson for putting out a solo record at the same time he's on TV.

NBC put all the songs Tyson wrote for Parenthood on youtube. The song called, "I Should Have Taken You Home" was apart of these songs on an EP. I love "You're In Or You're Out" the most.

I found a song called "I Should Have Taken You Home" from Parenthood. It's a duet. It's sung by Tyson and Mae Whitman. Now he doesn't get any credit for the song. They have pictures from last week's show where Mae's boyfriend beats up Tyson and Matthew Atkinson. Any Tyson fans should look it up by the title of the song.
