The group performs covers of pop/rock with one unique twist - no instruments. And yet people still can't believe what they hear, with rocking soloists, vocal percussion that rivals drum machines, and intricate arrangements. From Berkeley to San Diego, the group has opened for professional groups m-pact and Sixth Wave, competed in the International Championship of College A Cappella, and has been an audience favorite at UCLA's oldest musical tradition, Spring Sing.
The ScatterTones released their debut album, ToasterScent, on June 9th, 2006. Their newest album, Blink, was released on June 5, 2008. Sample clips are located at http://www.scattertones.com where you can also order a CD.

That reminded my of the good old days of being a kid in the late '80s/early '90s! That was SWEET! That was quite a surprise and so well done. The soloist's voice fits the song very well. 5*
