UMC stands for Ultimate Music Covers. Two metalheads on a missionary mission for their beloved genre. Since 2014 drummer Tobias Derer and producer Nils Lesser on guitar show their fellowship how nowadays top 10 hits should sound like!
By reworking any kind of radio hit from Avicii to Pit Bull and Britney Spears they grew their audience within weeks into a massive YouTube fellowship and started a movement. Millions of views and ten thousands of subscribers show their support. Always with a wink they don’t take themselves too serious but still don’t miss to impress with their musical skills.

Nils Lesser (born in 1991) guitarist and sound producer of UMC, started playing the guitar when he was 10 years old.

Tobias Derer (born in 1990) drummer and video producer of UMC, started to realise his dream of becoming a professional musician at the early age of six.

This is by far one of the best covers ever made and I don't use that lightly as I used to be a radio DJ that had an item on covers that are better than the original. This is one! The drumming is fenomenal this guy is ridiculously talented. This song just keeps blowing my socks off every time I hear it! The UMC collective are one of the best artists on youtube period.

Bin grade erst auf euch gestoßen. Aber WTF. Was ist das für ein unfassbar geiler Sänger??? Klar, Metal Cover Songs sind ein Brüller. Leo verfolge ich schon lange. Aber die Stimme dieses BADASS VOCAL HEROS ist unfassbar gut. So dunkel, rau aber trotzdem gleichmäßig und klar. Wie matter, tiefschwarzer Samt. Fuck, mehr von dem Kerl. Der Song ist Mega gelungen. 🤟
Hauptrichtung volles Rohr nach vorne.
Die kleine Änderung der Kameraführung passt gut rein.
Also wenn es keine zwei Sängerinnen stellenweise waren, ist der Schnitt ne coole Idee.
Der Song ist zwar nicht mein Top3 Favorit auf dem Album, jedoch ganz knapp drunter.
Liegt vielleicht auch daran das ich mich früher schon dran satt gehört habe. 🤪
Sängerauswahl war wieder einmal ausgezeichnet.

Your drum sound is so f*cking tight!
