Ultraspank was a metal band in the 1990s and early 2000s. Their original name was Spank, but due to legal reasons they were forced to change it. During an interview with Rob Zombie, Zombie suggested they should call themselves "Ultra" Spank. This is noted in the liner notes of their self titled debut.
Their second album, "Progress" came out in 2000, and didn't sell very well due to a lack of promotion. After being dropped by their record label, they split up, and guitarist Neil Godfrey joined downthesun to record their self-titled debut album. Before the album's release, Godfrey exited downthesun and joined Motograter for a brief period before starting Lo-Pro with former vocalist Pete Murray (not to be confused with Australian singer Pete Murray).

Staring at the empty
I need to move along
Choose to see it your way
Leaves me all alone
I need to find a reason
I need to pick it apart
I need to make sense to restore confidence
So what so what you're too good
For what for what you once stood
So what so what you had it all
So why so why the big fall
So what so what you're too good
For what for what you once stood
So what so what you had it all
So why so why the big fall
Leave you all behind me
Leave you all alone
With all there is before me
Where do I belong
I need to rise above this
I need to pull the rug out
I need to rip it apart
I need to make sense to restore confidence
So what so what you're too good
For what for what you once stood
So what so what you had it all
So why so why the big fall
So what so what you're too good
For what for what you once stood
So what so what you had it all
So why so why the big fall
Look at you now
Wouldn't you know
Try to save a face
Time won't erase
Permanent

Crumble
The song "Crumble" by Ultraspank tells a story of a person who is trying to move on from their past and find their place in the world. The first verse sets the scene with the singer staring at empty space and feeling the need to move on. However, they are conflicted by the opinions of others, leaving them feeling alone. The chorus is an anthem for picking yourself back up after a fall, reminding the singer that they are not too good for what they once stood for and to make sense to restore confidence.
The second verse continues with the theme of leaving the past behind and choosing to move forward. The singer asserts that they need to rise above and rip apart the things that are holding them back. The chorus repeats with the same message, encouraging the singer to remember that they had it all before and to rise to that level again.
The bridge of the song takes a more accusatory tone, as the singer looks back at their past and sees that they tried to save face, but time won't erase their mistakes. The repetition of "permanent evidence" underscores their regret for their past actions. The song ends with the repeated word, "crumble," perhaps signifying the singer's realization that it's time to let the past crumble away and start anew.
