The song "Diamonds" by Ultraviolence speaks about the beauty and allure of someone's eyes. The repeated use of the metaphor "your eyes like diamonds" emphasizes just how precious and captivating they are. The lyrics suggest that when the singer sees the person's eyes, everything else fades away and they are completely mesmerized by their beauty. The line "Your eyes cut into my eyes" speaks to the intense connection between the singer and the person whose eyes they are admiring. The change from blue to red could represent the shift in emotions from calm to passionate, or it could represent the idea that the person's eyes have the power to change and evolve just like diamonds. Overall, the song highlights the powerful effect that someone's eyes can have on us and how they can capture our attention and our hearts.
