This change is significant and has left a mark on society in some way.

We are approaching the end of our existence as a society or perhaps as a species itself.

Wars.
Conflict, violence and competition are pervasive.

Faith.
Belief in anything beyond ourselves is eroding.

Failing methods fill the days.
The old ways of doing things are no longer effective and lead to negative outcomes.

Undermine life.
Our actions and decisions are destroying our own existence.

Baneful steps that conjure hate.
Our actions are causing hatred and division.

Claiming our lives.
Our negative actions and attitudes are taking over and defining our lives.

Balance fades with every day.
We are losing harmony and balance as we become more extreme and less balanced in our actions and beliefs.

A growing cloud.
A sense of impending doom or hopelessness is settling over society.

Simple lessons show the way.
There are simple solutions and lessons that can help us overcome these problems and find our way back to a more stable and harmonious existence.

Fall into void.
We are losing ourselves to our negative tendencies and destructive actions.

We stopped listening.
We are not open to new ideas or perspectives, and are shutting out the voices of reason and hope.

Followed our nature.
We are acting on our base instincts and desires, rather than reflecting on what is right and just.

Bound by hatred our lives grow torn.
Our society is becoming increasingly divisive and fractured as a result of our hatred and negative actions.

Finding new ways to betray.
We are actively seeking to betray and harm others, as our sense of morality and empathy erodes.

Claiming the weak.
We are taking advantage of those who are vulnerable or less powerful than ourselves.

Boundaries crossed with no remorse.
We are willing to violate basic ethical boundaries without guilt or remorse.

Killing ourselves.
Our actions and beliefs are harming ourselves as a society or species.

Forcing dogma overthrown.
We are rejecting any established system of beliefs or values, and instead following our own impulses and desires to excess.

A new standard waits.
There is a new system of values and beliefs that can help us get back on track and find harmony and balance.

Credence in all but one.
We must respect all perspectives and values, except for those that are actively harmful and divisive.

Our own kind.
Our fellow humans and the collective society as a whole.

We are likely to experience regret and bitterness if we fail to act and continue down our current path of destruction.
