With a crew composed of 7 different beings, the atmosphere sometimes takes the form of symphonic proportion by its sound diversity and arrangements. Their vocal performance range from one extreme to the other as they alternate between glorious choirs; inhuman screams of deep, high, mid-growl and delirious intensity; theatrical narrations and clean/sober sections strewn with bewitching feminine singing pleasures.

In the Mind of the Last Whale
Unexpect Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
As the lyrics are instrumental, there are no words to interpret. However, the song itself can still convey meaning through its music and instrumentation. "In the Mind of the Last Whale" is a haunting and beautiful piece that carries a sense of melancholy and longing. The use of string instruments creates a sense of depth and emotion, while the ethereal vocals add an otherworldly element. The song seems to tell a story without words, evoking images of vast oceans and the mysterious creatures that live beneath them.
The track is a journey through a soundscape that takes the listener on a trip through various emotions, from the gentle plucking of strings to the intense and powerful crescendos. There is a sense of sadness and regret woven throughout the piece, as if it is reflecting on the beauty we have lost and the tragedy of the environmental destruction we have caused. Overall, "In the Mind of the Last Whale" is a stunning work of art that invites the listener to immerse themselves in its rich and evocative sound.

This gave me the most intense goose bumps and tingles all over my body and I quite literally had tears streaming down my face. What a powerful piece of music.

I always loved UneXpect, Quantum Symphony most of all, but this..I find it pleasing to play it on loop while driving and enjoy the terrified faces of those in my car the whole ride.

If someone played woke me up with this I'd start screaming uncontrollably. 10/10 would haunt again.
