In August 2000 the band issued their self-titled debut album. While working on tracks for a second album, delays set the band back, and Krusen grew somewhat frustrated and left. That eventually lead to Unified Theory's breakup. They have since announced plans to release a new album consisting of the recorded material for the second album (some of which has never been heard) as well as songs from the Luma period. No timetable has been set for this release.
Unified Theory is also progressive metal band from Portugal.
Passive

Counting the days after I've peaked
Passive in the way I stand
Numbing the strong cuts on my hands
I know its right, when I'm left alone
I feel stronger now, much stronger now this way
Closer, than I ever thought I could be
I believe now
To who I am
Can't compare a single day
The stones I hear them trade
Comfort comes to me in sleep
Bitterness turned sweet
I know its right when I'm left alone
I feel stronger now, much stronger now
This way
Closer, that I ever thought I could be
I believe now
Closer
To who I am
Closer, than I ever thought I could be
I believe now
Closer, closer
The lyrics to Unified Theory's song "Passive" convey a sense of introspection and self-reflection. The singer is counting the days and acknowledging that he has already peaked in some way. He is standing passively, numbing the cuts on his hands and ignoring the pain. However, being alone and detached from everything is making him feel stronger, and he's getting closer to who he truly is.
The lines "I know it's right when I'm left alone" and "closer, than I ever thought I could be" suggest that the singer is finding peace and clarity in solitude, and that he's discovering aspects of himself he didn't know existed. The stones "trading" and the transformation of "bitterness turned sweet" may also represent the singer's personal growth and the gradual healing of past wounds. Overall, the song seems to convey a sense of empowerment and self-acceptance that comes from facing one's inner demons.
