Secret

Once I had a secret love
That lived within the heart of me
All too soon my secret love
Became impatient to be free

So I told a friendly star
The way that dreamers often do
Just how wonderful you are
And why I'm so in love with you

Now, I shout it from the highest hills
Even told the golden daffodils
At last my hearts an open door
My secret love's no secret anymore

You're my secret love

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Unknown's song "Secret" speak to the experience of having a hidden love that is desperate to be revealed. The first two lines, "Once I had a secret love / That lived within the heart of me," set the tone for the song as it highlights the deeply buried emotion that the singer has been hiding. The use of the word "secret" points to the fact that this love is private and not meant to be shared with anyone.

However, as the singer's love grew stronger, it became harder for them to keep their feelings hidden. They longed to share their love with the object of their affection, and so they confided in a "friendly star", a metaphorical representation of someone they trust to keep their secret. The chorus of the song emphasizes the transformation that has taken place, with the singer proclaiming that they are no longer keeping their love a secret. They shout it "from the highest hills" and have opened their hearts, so their "secret love's no secret anymore."

Overall, the lyrics of "Secret" are a poignant expression of the internal struggle and eventual release that can come with admitting to a hidden love. The song captures the emotional depths of harboring intense feelings for someone while also highlighting the liberating power of vulnerability and authenticity.

all the sudden the so called conspiracy nuts are right yet again and sceptics are nearly always wrong. At some point listen to conspiracy theorists. They are lets see 70 years ahead of the same fools that laughed at them

@0:59 she said we have sightings going back to the 1940's 50's and 60's yet there are several paintings which are several hundred years old depicting objects in the sky. Just though I'd throw that in.

@TommyHawksblood1

No it is not even 10% of what they know. Or actually were doing.

@TommyHawksblood1

You have no clue to what they have learned. The whistle blowers have no clue either. The small bit of info they have is nothing compared to the REAL TRUTH.

I just have to applaud National Geographics for taking the risk to present this excellent series with such a sound scientific and journalistic approach. As an ecologist, I feel very supported in my view that probablistically life, even intelligent life, must exist else where in this universe, and especially the multiverse. It is unrealistic to maintain that we are alone.
